The problem
A job can move through calls, calendars, technician notes and separate billing tools. The office needs a complete record without rebuilding the story at each handoff.
What was built
The original application groups the customer, equipment, visit and documents around the job. Its daily and office dashboards serve different tasks. The portfolio demo follows the same customer through request, scheduling, notes, approval and a draft invoice.
A practical design challenge
Keeping the customer, work description and approved amount linked as the job changes state. In the portfolio implementation, approval gates and duplicate-invoice checks make those transitions explicit.
What works in this showcase
The dashboards and workflow prototype are available to demonstrate. The portfolio uses fictional records and does not send invoices or take payments.
What still needs validation
Equipment diagnostics, hardware decoding and production accounting connections need further validation before a customer rollout.
Where this experience could help.
Service companies, property maintenance and other teams that need a clearer handoff between field work and the office.
Independent project. A client pilot would have its own scope and agreed checks for success.
